What Is Kanna?
kanna (say it: “kah-nah”) is a succulent plant native to South Africa, known botanically as Sceletium tortuosum. it’s been used for centuries by the Khoisan people — chewed, brewed as tea, or used as snuff — to ease stress, lift mood, and bring people together after a long day.
we fell in love with Kanna and wanted to bring it to you in a form that’s easy, discreet, and enjoyable to take.
How It Works
kanna contains natural alkaloids (the main one’s called mesembrine) that interact gently with your body’s serotonin activity — similar to how you’d feel after a good workout or a great conversation, minus the caffeine jitters or the high.

SSRI Warning
Do not use if you are taking prescription antidepressants or other serotonergic medications. Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) affects serotonin activity in the brain. Combining it with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, tricyclic antidepressants, triptans, tramadol, dextromethorphan, lithium, St. John’s Wort, 5-HTP, or L-tryptophan may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a rare but potentially life-threatening condition. Talk to your doctor before use if you take any prescription medication.
